London, day 1 of 2

Dear diary,

Time to time, it is time for relax, time to time it is just more or less time for taking care of the moment and catch something surprisingly issues. This basically means, that during the spring, local flyingcompany called BLUE1 provided 10 EUR tickets to direction or another... Without any more thinking, I reserved 4 tickets to London and back... well....later on I noticed that the airport was not Heathrow, which I used 100% when doing business traveling. This time the airport was Standsted, which is not even near London and the times for flying was not probably the best possible, but without thinking that... we just took the trip and that's it.

London is the interesting city and even the past 7 years I have done lots of business trips to London, I haven't have time to get familiar with all (not even a small part actually) sightseeings of London. This time we just decided to get familiar with some.

So, after founding our hotel near Liverpool street (station of Stanstead Express), we had basically short agenda to visit in Madame Tussauds vax museum. I was able to see my favorite ladies Kylie and Julie Roberts. Then I got my daughter Laura with me when we met "Arska"...means Arnold...who is the tiny fellow next to me... "I'll be back" so on :-)

K-Rauta Merituuli rules!!!

Dear diary,

I have noticed one thing (already actually a about half year ago)... The best possible friends of housebuilders are the friends in hardware store. In Finland there are several harwarestore chains, one is K-Rauta. Near our place is actually several others, but with K-Rauta Merituuli (Espoo, Finland), there are "housebuilding department" mainly run by Vesku (left) and Mikko (right). Without right kind of friends and some persons from hardware store you will end up a huge mess....

Time to time you need favors...all the time you need deasant prices...even good prices, so in that sense these kind of friends can save during the whole project easily about 10.000 EUR (12.000 USD), so in that sense these kind of friends are more than needed.

I would like to rise toast to Mikko, Vesku, Raimo, Timo and Rasmus and several others to help us from our mostly preferred hardwarestore, K-Rauta Merituuli, Espoo. I haven't ever even meet these kind of customer service anywhere...not even close :-)

Building House

Dear Diary,

Started to build house at August 2005. Now it is March 2006 and it seems to be, that 230 square meter house is going to be soon in the shape, that in can be moved in (not exactly yet, but it seems that there are are possibilities to do it later on during this spring.

Building house on your own, basically with your father-in-law, own father and wife's uncle you end up the situation, where you probably are always wrong and the rest of the "family" is usually always right. Well, swollowing own pride and doing everything as good as possible is the best possible choise.

Surprisingly during winter 2006 there as been pretty good weather...I mean this time we really had pretty good winter with snow and some -10 Celcius degrees, so we have enjoyed :-)
